Call to Conscience
helping to oppose military service
and resist arbitrary treatment in Russia
We are a group of lawyers and experts from Russian human rights organizations that have come together since the beginning of the full-scale war in Ukraine. We fight for the right to conscientious objection.

what we do
We focus on providing access to civil rights. We do this by publishing detailed instructions on the website, and changes in the law and its practice, their explanations and real-life examples of resistance on telegram and instagram.

We provide free daily legal consultations on our Telegram hotline, and further help to find counsel for the defense if needed and raise funds to cover their work.

support us
In 2024 we provided advice to 5,100 people, provided defense attorneys
to more than 100, and 2 million people visited our website with instructions.

None of that would be possible without our supporters.
